Mike started his education at St. Mary’s University, but decided to go a different route and began his career in construction. In 2011, as an experienced residential roofer and bricklayer, Mike joined the Volcano Construction team as a General Labourer. Although he started as ‘green’ as they come in the demolition field, Mike’s strong work ethic and a willingness to learn helped him rise through the ranks to a Foreman on Demolition, Concrete Cutting, and Abatement job sites. In 2021, Mike was promoted to the role of Estimator.

Born and raised in Cape Breton, Beverly has worked in corporate finance for most of her career. After graduating high school, she moved to Halifax to attend Dalhousie University. Upon realizing that a career in science was not what she wanted, she took a job working in a centralized fast food restaurant data centre. She immediately took interest and wanted to learn everything about running a store of her own. Within two years she was the manager of four corporate restaurants in Dartmouth and one in Halifax. She was 23 years old.
