Bedford Institute of Oceanography – Entrance Upgrade (2017)
In 2017, Volcano was contracted to remove the aging entry system from the Bedford Institute of Oceanography, which had become outdated and visually unappealing. Working in close coordination with the project team, Volcano carefully dismantled the structure using a crane to safely lower components to the ground.
Once safely on the ground, the materials were systematically dismantled, processed, and removed from the site in accordance with project requirements. The work was completed safely, efficiently, and within the established project timeline and budget — contributing to a modernized, refreshed entrance for the facility.
